guest bedroom - in progress

I took these photos of the guest bedroom before work this morning.  It is still a work in progress but has come a LONG way.  I do not have any before photos but just imagine that the walls are stark white and bingo that is what the space looked like.  Complete blank slate.  It is a TINY room and I knew wanted the walls to be a neutral color so I picked Farrow & Ball String and LOVE it.  We also spray painted my grandmothers spindle bed a cream color and spray painted a chair that the previous home owner left a different shade of cream.  I bought all new bedding from Tuesday Mornings {which FYI they carry nice discounted sheets like Peacock Alley and Sferra} and the throw is from Restoration Hardware.  We moved these lamps in from our old bedroom and the rest of the furniture is Matt’s before marriage furniture that I think is from Pottery Barn.  The framed map is one we had from Target {Matt loves framed maps} and the mirror is one we had from homegoods.  I sewed the triple pinch pleat drapes from fabric I got from Tony’s Fabric here in North Charlotte.

The only things left is that I want a geometric pattern on an accent pillow for the bed.  I also need to accessories these nightstands because they are looking down right SAD & also hang up some bamboo shades.  Also, the wall on the right side is naked so I some want large prints to go there.  So far I am thrilled with this room considering the only things we purchased have been the fabric, paint and bedding…not too shabby!
