Ohhh Monday...we meet again...

I had a great weekend with Matt in Atlanta.  We did a bit of a weekend getaway and it was fantastic.  We left really early {and by really early I mean - yes we are crazy morning people} and arrived around .  We stopped at a Ballard Design Outlet which is a mail order furniture company based out of Atlanta.  I scored a botanical print for $20.  I have no idea where this will go but when you move from an itsy bitsy place to a home your walls are naked.  I think we have purchased a lot for our walls with in the first year and they are still bare.

We spent the afternoon at a Braves Game {Matt is a HUGE fan} and had a blast…perfect weather and we sat behind home plate in the SHADE.
Afterwards we headed to our hotel for happy hour at the Sun Dial Bar which was neat because it is the top floor of the tallest hotel in the western hemisphere and the bar rotates.  He loves this because he is obsessed with views and LOVES watching planes land.  He seriously should have worked in aviation.
We then had a fantastic dinner at FAB which is such a beautiful restaurant. I had the coq au vin and it was AWESOME!
Sunday morning I talked Matt into stopping by some outlets “on our way out” which were actually like an hour detour to check out Restoration Hardware. :) So glad we did.  The sconce I was talking about in this post was purchased by yours truly for $60…so that is a savings of $200.  It has a couple of baby scratches {what I like to call character} and needs some shades but I love it.  I also picked up some chandelier shades for a project I am working on, tray for our powder room, and clay pot to put our kitchen utensils in.
Happy Monday!
