Our Guest Bath - In Progress

This bathroom officialy began my hatred for wallpaper.  Don’t get me wrong, there are a ton of drop dead gorgeous wallpapers, but the next home we buy we are going to have it in the contract that wallpaper must be removed throughout the entire home prior to us moving in.  It was horrible, it came off in the smallest pieces and since then we have invested on a steamer for our powder room.  We decided to start with this restroom  because we never use it so it wouldn’t have been an inconvenience and therefore we were able to take our time on this project.  Not to mention I didn’t want to spend a lot $ on this room.  So here is the before....

So far we have painted this restroom a light green, installed travertine tile (thank you father in law and hubs), painted our builder grade vanity Farrow and Ball’s Mouse Back (color matched at home depot), installed a new mirror (love the mirror and can you believe that is from Lowes and is travertine?!) added new lights, and bought accessories from Anthropologie.  It seems like a lot but we still have to change out the facet, shower rod, shower head, artwork, and figure something out for the medicine cabinet.

wow.  the paint look lime in this picture....i may repaint it!

still trying to find a medicine cabient that fits in that current size

painting cabients was way easier than i thought

so proud of the floor - way to go Matt!
